A believer, an honest, faithful person:—ímáṉdárí, s. f. Faithfulness, piety, fidelity, honesty:—imáṉ lai áuṉá, liáuṉá, v. n. To believe, to have or put faith in; to trust, to rely on, to credit; to be converted to a faith:—imáṉ nál, ad. Fairly, honestly:—imáṉ nál kahiṉá, v. n. To testify or declare solemnly:—imáṉ wechṉá, guáuṉá, v. a. lit. To sell one's conscience; to forfeit one's integrity, to prove dishonest:—pinḍ wasdiáṇ de mainúṇ lakkh uláhmeṇ: belí mainúṇ imáṉ barabbar wáṇg khane Kábe.
