s. m, Gum Ammoniacum, a product of Dorema Ammoniacum, Nat. Ord. Umbelliferæ. It occurs in pale yellow globular masses, white inside and smooth. It is said to produce abortion, and is used in a variety of diseases as a stimulant and expectorant.
