ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥ2
s. m, husband; a master. an owner:—khasmwálí, s. f. A woman whose husband is alive:—satt khasmí, s. f. A woman of bad character:—nikhasmí, a. Without a husband or master:—khasmá khániá, khasmá kháníe, s. m. f. lit. A devourer of one's master. An imprecation if addressed to a woman equivalent to wishing her to become a widow. Used to a man it denotes a wretched unprofitable person who is nothing but a trouble:—khasmá kháí, s. f. The quality of being the above. The meaning will vary with the sex of the person addressed:—khá khasmáṇ, núṇ, khasmáṇ ṇúṇ khán. lit. Go and devour your master: a great abuse if addressed to a woman. Said to a man, it is equivalent to go and be hanged.
