s. f, gardener's wife, daughter; a small shrub (Edwardsia Hydaspica, Nad. Ord. Leguminosae) with a fine yellow flower, somewhat resembling broom which is common at many places in the Salt Range and Trans-Indus. Goats occasionally crop it, but it is said to be fatal to other animals.
