s. m, plant (Artemisia sacrorum, Nat. Ord. Compositæ) which grows to considerable heights in the drier tracts on several of the rivers up to near the Indus. It is eaten by cattle, sheep; and in Chamba is said to be given medicinally to horses in affections of the head.
