A thief got into the washerman's house, the washerman was not injured, but others were (i. e., those whose clothes were with him)!—Wisákh Jeṭh wuṭṭhá, Sáwaṉ Bhádoṇ muṭṭhá. If it rain in Wisákh and Jeṭh, (i. e., from the middle of April to the middle of June) it will be unlucky in Sáwaṉ, Bhádoṇ, (i. e., from the middle of July to the middle of September).—Prov. a wet spring makes a dry autumn.
