s. f. m, The moustaches; a short thick piece of timber; a portion of a beam:—muchchh dá bál, wál, s. m. lit. A hair of a moustaches; met. a trustworthy man:—muchchh muchchh kháṉá, v. n. To live by extortion:—muchchh laiṉá, v. a. See Muchchhṉá:—muchchháṇ núṇ tá deṉá, v. a. To twirl or twist one's moustaches, to think no end of oneself; to brag, to show off:—dáṛhí náloṇ muchchháṇ wadhníáṇ, v. a. To grow moustaches longer than one's beard; met. to outrun one's income:—ḍabbí maiṇh bheḍ bhúslí, te muchchháṇ wálí rann, te taneṇ wann ko wann or bann ko bann. A spotted (black and white) buffalo, an earthen coloured sheep, a woman with moustaches, these three are bad kinds.—Prov.
