s. m, plant (Caroxylon Griffithii; Salsola Griffithii, Nat. Ord. Salsolaceæ.) Pearl-ashes (Sajjí) are prepared from it. It is a very favourite food of camels, and large quantities of it are brought fresh into Multan to be sold as fodder for them.
