s. m. (K.), ) A tree (Albizzia odoratissimá, Nat. Ord. Leguminosæ) which grows sparingly in valleys up to the Chenab. Its timber is valued is some parts of India as being hard, light, and strong, but in Kangra is said to be soft and only used for fuel. The tree produces a gum, and the leaves are used for fodder.
