ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥ2
s. m, ee (Cordia Myxa, C. latifolia, Nat. Ord. Boragineæ) which grows wild in the Siwalik tract up to the Ravi, and is commonly planted in the plains. The wood in Kangra is said to be white and soft, and is mostly used for fuel. The leaves are used for fodder and for plates. The astringent viscous fruit is eaten by natives; and is used for the marking nut, (Semecarpus) though its colour is transient. It is also given for coughs and indigestion; i. q. Lasúṛá.
